Exeter Surf Shop Expo
Highland Streetboards are heading out to the Surf Shop Expo in Exeter, UK! - www.surfshopexpo.com
This is one of the biggest board sports trade shows in the UK and the Highland team will have a booth, kicker, teaching area and mini ramp to show what Streetboarding is all about! Following the success we had at the Slide show where we gained a bunch of new shops and got the Streetboard Worlds at NASS we are committed to going to as many shows of this kind as possible. It really is the best way to get streetboarding into the public eye!

Wales Streetboard Demo!
The first ever streetboard demo to take place in Wales, UK will take place on Sunday the 31st of August at the Barry Island Skatepark (the Nap) in Cardiff. The event is organised by Cardiff's exclusive streetboard stockist - Proline skates. Anyone interested in more details should call John from Proline on 07740 374803. All streetboarders who can make it should come down and support the scene. Proline is pulling out all the stops to put Streetboarding on the map in Wales and this kind of grass roots event aimed at getting kids involved is the perfect way to promote and advance the sport. Expect to see the world's most Welsh streetboarder Simon Johns there along with Cardiff local Matt Jacobs and some more of the UK crew en-route to the Surf Shop Expo in Exeter. See you all there!

Tancrède Leca Video # 2
You know that old saying - you wait for a bus for ages then all of a sudden 2 come along at once? Well, another video of the 2005 World Mini Ramp Champion Tancrède Leca has surfaced on YouTube. A couple of the shots are the same from the other clip that we featured a few days ago, however by and large it's new footage of him killing it. Great to see!

From Canada with love
Dom Ebel has just flowed us a few photo's from his current trip to Canada, he's out there currently Snowboarding aswell as pushing the Streetboard word and it looks as though badly maintained ramps with metal shards everywhere aren't stopping him from killing it. Rip Curl Boardmasters!
Streetboarding is off to yet another UK festival! Streetboard UK has hooked up demo's on the Vert and Wooden Waves Skate Park at this year's Rip Curl Boardmasters in Newquay, Cornwall!! The Rip Curl Boardmasters is another huge festival that attracts thousands of spectators to watch Skate, BMX and Surf contests along with Bikini Contests and Live Bands. Clearly the Bikini Contest would be worth the trip alone but the Streetboarding would be good to watch too! The event starts on Monday and lasts all week until the 10th.
