UK National Championships 2008 Video

Ismael Calvo from Chile has just uploaded a video of his skating to Vimeo called 'Let's get back to the Basic'. As we're sure you'll agree after watching this video - there's absolutely nothing basic about it! Awesome skating.

Back in Blood info revealed
Jay Nowman of the True Skool has announced today the details of the mysterious Back in Blood, which will be the return of Blood On Concrete - the real street contest - in Barcelona. If any of you were at the original event back in 2004, you'll know the event was about carnage, huge ledges, rails and drops and riding levels taken to never-before-seen heights.
If this has whet your appetite, start making your plans to get there! It happens on the 3rd-4th of July at the beginning of 3 weeks of European events and all the info you need is right here in the Rider Pack.

Day One's first event - Reel Life
Our buddies at Day One have just announced their first ever Streetboard Event to take place on May 2nd & 3rd in London - Reel Life. The idea behind the event is a first in Streetboard history - with teams of 3 riders skating and filming around London for 24 hours, then editing a video montage to be shown at the after party. The winning videos will then be announced.
We can confirm Flipside will be putting a team in for the event, currently along with Day One and The True Skool. More info on who we will choose to represent us will be coming very soon! For now check out the event flier here and also click here for all the info you need regarding the event.

Streetboard Til' You Die event in Bristol!
Streetboard's first event of the '09 is happening on the 24th of January in Bristol and it's the first Streetboard Til' You Die event that's going to be a tour around Bristol Skate Park's - finishing up at Motion Skate Park with exclusive use of the Skate Park and bands in the later hours. Happy New Year everybody! We hope you had a good one and are ready for some carnage in the New Year. Getting '09 off to a flying start we've been receiving cryptic messages from Jay Nowman of the True Skool regarding something called Back in Blood. We have no idea what it's all about but we will certainly keep you guys updated! You can't beat a bit of New Year secrecy.
This Saturday (the 10th), the Flipside homies are heading up to skate Corby Skate Park starting at 12pm. If you're in the area come skate with us!
