Streetboard Tune Up

It is important to put your bolts in from underneath the footplate and up out through the top through the leather, bracket and then the nyloc nut. Placing your bolt this way round will prevent your board catching when you are trying slides on your footplates.

Now that you have the binding on one side marked out, tighten the nuts so that this one side is now fixed to your board securely.

Now for the other side. Bring your binding over the top of your shoe (if it isn't already) so the binding laces are over the top of your shoe (the binding laces will need to be loose for now so you have enough give in them to be able to bolt the other side down) and repeat the process that you just did on the first side bracket and tighten them down.

Now all that's left is to tighten the laces so your foot is nice and secure, then bring the heel strap round your heel, through the loop on the binding and back over itself to fit your foot in.

You will now have one footplate fully set up. Now just repeat the process on the other footplate and you're ready to ride. For an extra secure hold, you can also drill new holes in the holes in the centre of the brackets and bolt them down in the same way as you did the others, however this is optional.
