Max has done it!
A few have tried and have smashed themselves in the process, but now it's official - former World Champion Max Anderson has become the first ever Streetboarder to land the elusive Double Backflip! Un-believeable.
Place your bets now, who'll be first to land it in competition?? For sure you're not gonna want to miss Worlds at NASS!!!!

Worlds News
Lots of Worlds news has surfaced, firstly about the lucky riders who have gained Wildcards to compete at the World Championships at NASS. The chosen ones are:

Josh speaks about his injury
We caught up with Josh today and got a few words about the injury he sustained last weekend. Click here to check that out. Even though he had muscle sticking out of his leg he still beat the Bmxer back to his feet. Hero. We're really looking forward to seeing Josh back out there showing us all up.

Flipside Indoor Park Tour Pictures
We've uploaded the photos we got from our Indoor Park Tour a few weeks ago, check them out on the Streetboard Meets Page.
We are currently planning some more trips to Birmingham, Corby and Reigate in the near future so keep a look out for info of where we're hitting next.

More and more big online retailers are starting to stock Streetboards and the latest online store to throw Streetboards on their shelves is extremepie.com! Extremepie is the online store for the Extreme Sports Channel, that also has stores all over the UK and is one of the UK's largest Skate Retailers. It's great to see these guys supporting Streetboarding, so go show your support for them by buying a board!

In other news - Josh is now back home resting up after his near week-long stay in hospital in Birmingham, he's doing well and we're going to get a word with him in the next few days.

Josh smashes himself at overnight jam
Flipside riders Paul Nash and Josh Newman went up to the overnight jam at Creation Skate Park last night and it ended up with Josh in hospital undergoing surgery. Paul told us this morning that Josh collided with a BMX'er in the mini ramp and ended up with either a pedal or stunt peg in his shin. At first looking like a cut requiring stitches, it eventually became apparent as it started swelling and his shin muscle popping out of the cut that it was far more serious. We're told he couldn't move his ankle and didn't have feeling in the top of his foot. Nothing is broken bone-wise, however he has undergone surgery today as doctors fear nerve damage may have ocurred.
We'll bring you the latest as we get it, get well soon bro, we hope to see you back killing it soon!

NASS Streetboard Info now on official site
The official NASS website now has info about the World Streetboard Championships online - with a first view of the current riders confirmed to be taking part. So far confirmed are current World Champions Sergi Nicolas and Gotthard Pilsner, former World Champions Max Anderson and Gabi Munoz and former UK Champion and Flipside Team Rider Andy Garrett!
