True Skool Streetboard Instruction video
Happy Easter! Just a quick update to let you guys know that if any of you have been lucky enough to get a new Streetboard for Easter then you should check out the video clip above, it's a brand new Instructional Video, with Mr. Jay Nowman showing you how to start on a Streetboard. So get those moves down before you go loading up on chocolate and roast turkey ;)

Flipside Indoor Park Tour
Flipside is hitting the road this weekend! Josh, Adam and Paul will be visiting Creation Skate Park in Birmingham on Saturday night for the evening session until 7pm, followed by a trek to Corby Skate Park on Sunday for the afternoon session. We'll be filming and taking a ton of photos so if you're around then drop by and skate with us. You know it makes sense.

Worlds update - Get yourself a Wildcard!
In order to gain a wildcard for the 2008 World Streetboard Championships
at NASS you must
produce a 1 minute video of you riding the category you would like to
enter. The video must consist of 1 minute of continuous riding, no editing
cuts, just like a competition run. For example, if you would like to enter
street, then you must send in a video of you skating a streetcourse in
a skate park doing a 1 minute continious run. The same for vert and spine.
If you would like to enter more than one event, you must submit a video
for each. Videos can be either youtube
links or MPEG or wmv formats.
The closing date for wildcard entries is 31st March 2008

Ositos Crew Segment from MDR
Check the clip above, it's a segment from a TV show on MDR in Germany
that was played throughout Europe recently. It is in German, however there
is some good footage in there to watch. Big up to the Ositos crew who
were featured in the segment, nice work guys - awesome promotion for Streetboarding!

NASS Streetboard Invasion Update
With the recent news of Worlds now happening at NASS we thought we'd give you the lowdown on what's going on with the NASS invasion we have planned.
As stated in the 2008 Worlds Press Release, the contest itself is invitational only, due to time constraints. We are still going ahead with our planned invasion of the public parks. We want to show everyone that there is also a scene and interest behind the sport, not just gnarly pro riders. So for this we will need everyone's help. We're looking to get everyone there who has a Streetboard - whatever your level of riding is - to come show your support, skate, walk around with your board, hang out with us etc. Get your mates to come, get everyone there to show your support for Streetboarding! If you're interested and want to be kept up to date - e-mail Josh at josh@flipsideboards.co.uk to be informed of updates. Also, make sure you get your NASS tickets ASAP!!

*Exclusive - Worlds 2008 at NASS!!!!!*
Yes you read it right and you heard it here first - this year's World Streetboard Championships will be the biggest ever, they are heading back to the UK and are going to be held at NASS!! Neil Thomson of Highland Streetboards has hooked this huge contest up that will get Streetboarding out in front of thousands of spectators at the NASS weekend festival. Check out this official press release with info about the event! More news will of course be added here as soon as we hear it, so for now get your travel sorted - Streetboard is taking over NASS this year!!

Flipside "I Know..." Online Streetboard Clip
Dom has been working hard for a while on getting a video montage together of footage we collected over last summer with Colin Horan from Day One, and he has just uploaded the video to his website. The video is called "I Know..." and you can download it by going to Dom's site by clicking here or by heading to his blog in his team section in the main site menu <.
His site is also being updated with news of his travels through Canada Snowboarding and Streetboarding, it's well worth a read.

Marchwood Part 2
Adam has jumped on the blog bandwagon and put up some pics from his and Josh's skate yesterday over at Marchwood. There's also a couple of video clips to check out, so hit up Adam's blog for all that.

NASS 08 Streetboard Invasion!
A few years ago while speaking to the organisers of NASS they mentioned to us that some guerilla marketing was needed to get Streetboarding out in front of the crowds, so this year that is exactly what we intend to do! Josh is spear-heading an initiative to get as many UK Streetboarders to the event to take over the parks and get Streetboarding in front of the masses. Incase somehow you've not heard of NASS, it is the UK's biggest extreme sports festival that attracts the world's top pro's in all sports and thousands of spectators each year. NASS is happening on the 13th - 15th of June at the Bath & West Showground. Check out the NASS website by clicking here.

New Streetboard Meets Section
Last weekend we were joined by SBUK Riders Alex Wheeler and Simon Johns for a tour around Flipsideland to get the first proper skate of 2008 on the go. We were taking pics all day which are now online for you to check out on our new Streetboard Meets page, which is located in the events Section of the navigation menu on the left. We're looking to get as much skating done as possible now when the weather is good so if you want to hook up with us send us an e-mail.

The first blog update
We went out today and skated Flipsideland with Josh and road tested the new Flipside camera with Josh throwing down a couple of bangers. Check out Josh's blog for the pics. We're on everyone elses case to get their blogs filled up so look for some content from the other guys soon!

New Addicted "Take it Easy" Promo
The guys over at Addicted have a new video in the works and here is a new promo video for it. It looks as though the video will be sick and it is being released on the 23rd of February. At this stage we're not sure if it will be an online release or on DVD. More on this as we hear it!

HPT looking for new team rider!
Homeless Punky Tech - the Streetboard brand based in Barcelona, Spain have announced they are looking for a new team rider.
The rider can be from anywhere and will get a full sponsorship deal for HPT's wheels and clothing. The successful Streetboarder will also get a Camera to film for the next HPT DVD.
If you think you've got what it takes then all you need to do is get out there and film, create an edit and put it up on YouTube, then post the link over on the forums of Streetboarding.com
So go forth and get yourselves noticed!!

Rumours abound - The return of Moosh and an all new HPT Store
We're hearing a few rumours - regarding firstly the return of the Moosh
crew on the scene.
For those of you that weren't around when Moosh originally were around
they were a crew of riders in the midlands that always had some awesome
looking websites and gnarly designs. For sure it'd be great to see them
back rocking it so we'll keep you updated on any news we get.
Our next news item is the word of a Homeless Punky Tech online store
which should be live within a few weeks. Not much word on this yet but
it should sell all manner of HPT products. We're looking forward to
seeing this one!

Flipside is reborn!
A new year - a new Website! At long last our brand spanking new website is finally online! It's been a very long time coming, everyone that has worked on it has done an amazing job so thank you guys for helping!
